Healthy St. Pete Test Kitchen: Tune in with Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin at our Child’s Park Recreation Center test kitchen for a monthly series designed to provide a fun way for our partners to talk about their health and wellness initiatives; and discuss how they support our city’s overall vision of being a healthy community. Dr. Tomalin hosts a casual conversation in the kitchen, all while whipping up a healthy and accessible meal that can be easily made by any St. Petersburg viewer.

Family Nutrition: Through the National Parks and Recreation Association (NRPA) Out-of-School Time grant Healthy St. Pete works to improve family nutrition. Learn about nutritional needs for your family, and take on healthy changes to eat better. To learn more, click here.

FUN BITES LOGOFun Bites Program: The Fun Bites initiative was developed to provide healthier options at concession stands, snack bars, vending machines, and/or events. The goal is to make the healthy choice the easy choice by increasing healthy and affordable foods & beverages in public places. St. Pete Parks & Recreation is implementing Fun Bites at five concessions stands around the city.
