Healthy St. Pete Test Kitchen: Tune in with Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin at our Child’s Park Recreation Center test kitchen for a monthly series designed to provide a fun way for our partners to talk about their health and wellness initiatives; and discuss how they support our city’s overall vision of being a healthy community. Dr. Tomalin hosts a casual conversation in the kitchen, all while whipping up a healthy and accessible meal that can be easily made by any St. Petersburg viewer.

Fun Bites Program: The Fun Bites initiative was developed to provide healthier options at concession stands, snack bars, vending machines, and/or events. The goal is to make the healthy choice the easy choice by increasing healthy and affordable foods & beverages in public places. St. Pete Parks & Recreation is implementing Fun Bites at five concessions stands around the city.
