Get Fit St. Pete aims to actively engage the community by offering free fitness programs in parks across the city.
Get Fit St. Pete
Get Fit St. Pete provides access to FREE workouts in parks throughout the city. Classes are taught by local fitness professionals in an assortment of exercise formats. All workouts are appropriate for all ages and levels. The goal in this program is to challenge participants to try something new in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Tuesday Classes
Cardio Kickboxing
Try this exciting cardio kickboxing class will focus on technique and move into combination work for a great workout. No physical boxing. All fitness levels welcome!
1st Tuesday, 6-7 PM, Campbell Park, 601 14th St. S. (Meet in front of the recreation center)
Pickleball 101
Try out this paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Paddles and balls are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own! Pre-registration required as class size is limited, 16 participants max. Email rrmcswee@stpete.org for registration cancellations at least 24 hours prior.
2nd Tuesday, 6-7 PM, Bartlett Park, 2000 7th St. S. (Meet behind the recreation center)
Tai Chi
Combines gentle physical exercise and stretching with mindfulness.

Kayaking

City Breeze Bike Tours
Join us the 2nd Friday of each month for a one-hour recreational cycling class, designed for all skill levels! We have 12 bikes available for rental at no cost, but anyone with their own bike can join as well! Pre-registration is only required if you plan on using a rental (12 rentals max). Water Aerobics
This class is good for anyone looking to build strength and improve heart health while putting less stress on your joints and muscles. No lap swimming involved!

Outdoor Fitness in the Park – FitLot
This FREE one-hour circuit training classes provide a full-body and fun workout that all ages and abilities can benefit from. Neighborhood Wellness Walks
The Neighborhood Wellness Walks are a dynamic collaboration between Healthy St. Pete and neighborhoods across the city. The primary goal is to enhance collaboration and engagement, fostering a sense of community that transcends geographic boundaries. The Healthy St. Pete Neighborhood Wellness Walks take place across the city at different participating locations on the 4th Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m. The goal of the program is to bring communities together for a shared journey towards better health.

Neighborhood Wellness Champions are the backbone of this initiative. They are passionate individuals who step forward to lead and organize these monthly wellness walks within their communities. These champions play a crucial role in creating a supportive and active environment where neighbors can come together, share experiences, and collectively work towards a healthier lifestyle.
