Healthy St. Pete Presents Learn to Play: Shuffleboard for Kids

Healthy St. Pete is excited to launch a brand-new fun and engaging program for the kids out there – the Learn to Play Series! This innovative 4-week workshop is designed to foster sport development and enhance physical literacy in a fun and dynamic way. For our first series, we will be learning how to play shuffleboard! Shuffleboard is a game that dates back centuries and has gained popularity worldwide for its blend of skill, strategy, and social interaction. It’s a game of precision and technique, making it both challenging and rewarding for young players.
Throughout the four weeks, participants will embark on a journey of motor skills development, critical thinking, and strategy. From mastering the basic rules and techniques to developing strategic gameplay, our experienced coaches are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. Classes will run every Wednesday in the month of September from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club.
