We are thrilled to announce that Healthy St. Pete has received a generous sponsorship from BayCare to expand the Fresh Rec Stop program. This sponsorship will expand Fresh Rec Stop produce coolers to recreation centers on the city’s west side.  The west side centers that will be receiving the refrigerators are, Childs Park, Campbell Park, Gladden Park and J.W.   Healthy St. Pete teamed up with the St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department to bring you an interactive coloring book for kids to do with friends and family. As you read the book, follow along to try out the activities mentioned. Bay Leaves. These subtle-tasting leaves give any dish you put them in an aromatic quality not unlike tea. Your food certainly won’t suffer without a few dried bay leaves thrown in, but you will definitely notice a more complex smell and flavor with them.
